Mark your dates as we celebrate the finale event of Qixi Fest with a mega carnival at Smith Street, Chinatown! Delight in the revived and reimagined traditions of the Qixi Festival, which has disappeared in Singapore for over 50 years and centers on the beautiful custom of wishing upon the stars.

Workshop Highlights

Make a Wish Magpie: Customise Your Own Crochet Plushie! (Beginner Workshop)

Customise your own crochet magpie by adding eyes, mouth, bells and stuffing to a pre-made crochet magpie skin. Seal your magpie plushie by writing your wish on coloured paper for your wishes to take flight! Learn more about our signature "Make a Wish Magpie" programme here.

Harmonica 101 (Beginner Workshop w/ Harmonica included!)

Come and learn basic harmonica skills at this beginner workshop conducted by the Harmonica Aficionados Society! Ticket includes a 1-hour workshop and a harmonica.

Learn about the origins of Chinese poetry and basic poetry recital and singing methods at this workshop by Xin Sheng Poets Society.
